*What is Boudoir Photography?
We feel that Boudoir encompasses being intimate, sexy, classy, and beautiful. Our boudoir style of photography is focused on
flattering, tasteful posing that highlight your beauty and strength, with a flair of sexy and classy. We like to give the
illusion of nudity rather than reveal it all! Leaving something to the imagination is the sexy of all sexy.
*Who should get a Boudoir Shoot?
EVERY woman. Everytime we do a photoshoot, I can not help but be giddy about what you will be getting. A moment in time with stunning images of yourself to share. You, I promise, will be amazed at how stunning you are-right now!
*Where would my Boudoir shoot take place?
At our comfortable, private, fun 2200 sq ft studio in Ashland VA. We will send you the address and
directions once you have booked your boudoir shoot with us. Your in great company- I promise. We have an all female staff, with award winning hair and makeup artists, and a photographer that will listen to you and help you through the process.
*Who will be my Boudoir Photographer?
Joy Pfister is the owner and photographer at the studio. We invite you to visit our blog as she posts twice per week about photoshoots and more. She has been photographing for over 6 years and has been featured in multiple print magazines and blogs nationally.
*Do I need to bring my own Outfits?
Yes, we recommend that you do bring your own outfit to the studio. Something you feel comfortable
in. We love black and white! Corsets are awesome. We suggests tighter fabric than loose,
At the very minimum you must bring a bra and pantie set (we suggest black).
*How long will my photo shoot last?
It depends on which session you book. You can plan on a minimum of 2 hours all the way up to a full
day.
*Should I go tanning or get a spray tan before my shoot?
The simple answer in photography is that a spray tan CAN leave lines and cause blotchy uneven toned skin that can cause an editing nightmare.
We do not recommend a spray tan before your session at this time.
*What is your Cancellation policy?
We ask that in order to be able to reschedule your boudoir shoot without losing your sitting fee, you
must call and let us know exactly 7 days before your shoot. Unfortunately we never make an
exception for this policy as we have multiple staff booked and ready to accommodate you in
advance that would not be there otherwise.
*Do you shoot nude boudoir?
No we don’t shoot nude boudoir photos. We prefer the ‘illusion of nudity- it's sexier!
*Can I bring a friend?
We do not allow anyone other than the photographer, assistant & the client in the shooting area of
the studio during a photo shoot, so you are not able to bring anyone with you into the shoot itself. If
you feel more comfortable with a girlfriend coming along, you are more than welcome to bring her,
but she cannot be in the shooting area while we are shooting; she will need to wait in our lobby until
after your shoot is done.
